These are the terms for using sisuops.dev and for any payment you make through it, including the current $20 early-bird deposit. Read them before you pay.
SisuOps (sisuops.dev) is operated by LevelSafety Oy (LevelSafety Ltd), Business ID 3169518-3, PL 13, 00561 Helsinki, Finland. "We," "us," and "SisuOps" mean LevelSafety Oy throughout these terms.
By using this site, signing up, or making a payment through it, you're agreeing to these terms.
SisuOps is a course and template repository teaching DevOps engineers, freelancers, and small agencies how to build multi-tenant Kubernetes hosting for client sites, using OpenTofu, FluxCD, and UpCloud, instead of running a separate VPS per client.
The course itself doesn't exist yet. It's still being built. What you can buy on this site right now is a $20 USD refundable early-bird deposit, not the finished course.
Paying the deposit reserves your spot at $148 for the full course once it ships, instead of the $297 price everyone else pays at launch. It doesn't give you access to any course content today, because there isn't any to access yet.
We're building this regardless of signup count, there's no fixed ship date yet, but we post real build progress on the blog every couple of weeks, so that's something you can check instead of just taking our word for it. If you would rather wait and see, free signup still gets you on the email list with no payment and no price lock.
If the course never ships, or you change your mind, see our Refund Policy for exactly how that works.
All payments on this site, including the deposit, are processed by Paddle.com, acting as our merchant of record. Paddle handles billing, your card and payment details, VAT and sales tax collection, PCI compliance, and the refund and chargeback process. LevelSafety Oy never directly receives or stores your payment card data.
Because Paddle is the merchant of record, your payment is also subject to Paddle's own terms. If anything in these terms conflicts with Paddle's terms on a payment-processing matter (billing, card data, tax, refunds), Paddle's terms control for that matter.
This site doesn't require you to create a user account. Your relationship with us runs through the email address you give us and the payment record Paddle keeps for any deposit you make. You must be at least 18, or the age of legal majority where you live, to make a payment through this site.
When using sisuops.dev, you agree not to:
Everything on this site, and everything we eventually deliver as the SisuOps course, including videos, written materials, and the template repository code, belongs to LevelSafety Oy unless we say otherwise in writing.
Paying the deposit doesn't transfer any of that to you. It reserves your spot at the $148 price. What you're allowed to do with the course materials and the template repo once they ship, for your own projects or client work, will be spelled out in the course's own terms or the repo's license file at that point.
Until then, don't copy, resell, or redistribute anything from this site or any pre-release materials you might receive from us.
We provide this site and the SisuOps course "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
To the extent allowed by law, LevelSafety Oy's total liability to you for any claim related to this site, the deposit, or the eventual course is limited to the amount you actually paid us. We aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, such as lost profits or lost client contracts, arising from your use of the site or the course materials.
Nothing in this section limits liability that can't legally be limited, such as liability for fraud or gross negligence.
We can update these terms as SisuOps moves from pre-order to an actual shipped course. When we do, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
If a change materially affects a deposit you've already paid, we'll also email you about it directly before it takes effect. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the new terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Any dispute arising from them, or from your use of this site, falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of Finland.
Questions about these terms, your deposit, or anything else: email support@sisuops.dev.

The signup form needs a cookie just to remember who you are while you fill it out. Can't turn that one off — nothing breaks worse than a form that forgets your email halfway through.
With your yes, we also run Google Analytics — mostly to find out which blog post actually brought someone here, and whether anyone reads this far down the page.
Reject it and nothing changes for you. For us it's bigger: we're a small company paying real money for ads, and flying blind on which ones work is basically flushing that money down the toilet. We'd rather know. Your call.
